Jim’s business experience is extensive with regard to financing and operating two privately held companies engaged in sports marketing, event and television production of live college basketball, college lacrosse and LPGA golf. Prior to that he enjoyed a finance career which included co-founding a private biopharmaceutical company, as well as investment banking where he was engaged in sourcing capital for real estate, oil and gas exploration and regional restaurant franchise limited partnerships.

Jim and his wife have spent the better part of thirty years as residents of Madison. Their four children are all graduates of the local school system. Since graduating from the Hotchkiss School and Yale University, Jim has lived and worked on the Connecticut shoreline for most of his career. He is a former member of the Board and President of the Yale Hockey Association, a past President and Board member of the Madison Youth Lacrosse Association, a longtime youth lacrosse coach in Madison and enjoys golf, platform tennis, hiking and skiing. Jim’s sports marketing business originated and operated two annual events which raised over $2 million dollars for Special Olympics in Southern California and Indiana.

Jim’s real estate focus is on  the shoreline towns of  Guilford, Madison, Killingworth, Clinton, Branford, Westbrook and Old Saybrook. He is a member of the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
