I have always loved real estate. It has been my avocation for almost 25 years

"I have always loved real estate. It has been my avocation for almost 25 years. "I have always loved real estate. It has been my avocation for almost 25 years. I started investing with less than $5,000 in cash, have bought all our apartments and houses below market prices, have always added value to our properties through renovation and landscaping improvements and sold for tremendous, tax sheltered profits.”

Most recently, I helped an old friend (and very successful investor) complete a two year search to move his new family of five from residency in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands back to Prospect Hill, New Haven by Yale University. For two years we searched, researched the CT and Metropolitan NY markets, made some offers that were not accepted and in the second quarter of 2013 purchased one of the grandest, historic homes in our target area (7800 square feet, circa 1913) at 32% below its last listing price and 40% below its original listing price. As a result, most of the homes in the area were re-priced downwards, following the public release of this purchase.

Prior to becoming a realtor, Ken Ash was a senior executive at two leading worldwide Advertising Agencies, Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson, the chief marketing officer of the first Satellite Broadcast Pay TV venture in the United States and most recently an officer of a NASDAQ listed research and consulting company. “I enjoy bringing my business consulting, marketing skills and personal real estate investment experience to the real estate business. The opportunity to provide discrete, sound counsel to my clients, to help people find a new home they can love, buy it right and realize a wonderful profit when ready to sell is exciting to me. I am also attuned to the special requirements of successful downsizing from a financial and lifestyle perspective for those who are interested and at the point of listing.”

Ken is a member of the Fairfield County Board Of Realtors and brings his extensive real estate and business experience to serve the Westport, Weston, Fairfield, Wilton, Easton and East Norwalk markets. In addition Ken’s clients have called on him to help them in broader geographic areas throughout the country on both a direct basis and a “co-broker” basis managing a team of real estate sales associates and brokers to meet the needs of his clients. Ken’s real estate practice is driven by his commitment to serve very special clients, carried over from his business career, to ensure exceptional counsel and service to clients. Beyond the gratification afforded by this commitment is Ken’s belief that doing business this way for his clients will help his business grow.

A graduate of Princeton, Wharton MBA, a former coach for his son’s “rec league” soccer teams and a Westport/Weston CT Resident since 1987, Ken knows how much the area has to offer families and has the personal and business experience to provide sound counsel and insights to his clients.
