Testimonials

This provides a reference for our real estate agent, Maxine Sanders. We had the distinct pleasure of working with Maxine on two occasions - the purchase of our first house and the purchase of our "dream" home. We are extremely impressed and satisfied with Maxine on a number of levels. First we felt she really listened and took the time to understand our needs, priorities and financial considerations. We are very time pressed as a dual working couple with two young children, and appreciated her efficiency and sensitivity to our lifestyle-needs. We were only shown homes that were appropriate for our consideration set and were advised in a very objective manner on the pros and cons of each home. When we found our first house, we knew it was ideal but would be a "stretch" to get it, given the marketplace and our budget. Maxine was masterful at facilitating the process and guiding us ("hand-holding") every step of the way. We were told what to do, when to do it, and given excellent contacts (i.e., inspectors, lawyers). We spent four-and-a-half years of complete happiness in our first home. Because we maintained a relationship, Maxine was aware of some of our long-term desires for an upgraded home. Given that were very content, a new option would have to be close to perfect. Our "dream" home did come on the market and Maxine contacted us immediately. It was more than we imagined Again, Maxine managed the process and us and today we are living seven months in our new home where we plan to stay! In addition to helping us get the house in an even tighter, more competitive market, she did an incredible job in selling our first home. Her knowledge of the market, seasoned experience and excellent reputation with other brokers proved to be an invaluable asset. I would highly recommend Maxine for anyone in the market for a home. As a bonus, she is a lovely, good-hearted person with a sense of humor that comes in handy during some of the stressful moments in buying and selling a home.

In case you are not already aware of it, Maxine Sanders is one hell of a real estate agent and human being. When I asked Maxine to help me sell my house, I knew that I would get a first-rate professional operation. I was not disappointed. Maxine put on an aggressive and energetic effort to show my house and to advertise it so as to obtain the maximum exposure. The number of people who visited the house was remarkable and finally led to an offer that has been accepted. But that was not the least of it. Since the house was essentially empty during the entire period it was being shown, Max took on the additional work of taking care of the house through what proved to be a very difficult winter. When ice caused water to leak into the kitchen, Max got on her hands and knees and towelled up the water. When heavy snow blocked access to the house, Max shoveled the walk, and when she could not do it, she asked her son Jason to do it, all while I was safely ensconced in Manhattan. Because of my absence from Larchmont, Max also took care of other less demanding tasks, and has even helped me sell some of the furniture in the house. In short, you have in your staff a treasure. I am very grateful for Maxine and for her wonderful assistance and efforts.

After having our home on the market for a year with another realtor we gave it to Maxine Sanders to market and sell. Through her aggressive and creative promotion, our house was sold in three months at slightly below asking price, and the prospective buyers were in a bidding war to get it. There is a difference in realtors, Maxine worked unceasingly for us. She had the listing over the slowest months of the winter, but still produced buyers. It was pleasure doing business with her and would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone selling a house.
