Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Hosts ‘A Taste of Rye’ With My Sisters’ Place to Fight Domestic Violence

Rye, N.Y. (September 24, 2014) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realtyannounced today that the company partnered with My Sisters’ Place, a Westchester County-based organization that works to fight domestic violence, in hosting a fund-raising “A Taste of Rye” restaurant crawl on September 20, 2014 from 3-6pm.

In total, the company raised over $30,000 to support My Sisters’ Place and their Center for Residential Services in their efforts to end domestic violence by helping victims while focusing on community education and prevention. My Sisters’ Place also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need.

Purchase of a ticket allowed participants to “sip, snack and stroll,” gaining them a drink and a specially prepared appetizer by the chef at each of six restaurants featured on the tasting tour, including Ruby’s Oyster Bar, Morgan’s Fish House, Encore, Town Dock, Rye Bar & Grill and Fogama.

“I am so proud to support My Sisters’ Place and continue the bond our agents have established with this vital organization that works to effect important social change in our community,” said Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Rye brokerage manager Pati Holmes. “I am also tremendously grateful that such an excellent selection of Rye restaurants decided to open their doors and join us in this worthwhile cause.”
