Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Hosts ‘A Taste of Rye’ With My Sisters’ Place to Fight Domestic Violence

Rye, N.Y. (September 8, 2014) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that the company will partner with My Sisters’ Place, a Westchester County-based organization that works to fight domestic violence, in hosting a fund-raising “A Taste of Rye” restaurant crawl on September 20, 2014 from 3-6pm.

The company is currently selling tickets to the event for $50, and will match each ticket purchased up to a total of $7,500. Additional funds will be raised through a company-held silent auction, featuring items donated from local Rye merchants including four Premium Club tickets to a New York Giants game. All money raised will go directly to My Sisters’ Place in support of its efforts to end domestic violence by helping victims while focusing on community education and prevention. My Sisters’ Place also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need.

Purchase of a ticket allows participants to “sip, snack and stroll,” gaining them a drink and a specially prepared appetizer by the chef at each of six restaurants featured on the tasting tour, including Ruby’s Oyster Bar, Morgan’s Fish House, Encore, Town Dock, Rye Bar & Grill and Fogama.

“I am so proud to support My Sisters’ Place, a vital organization that works to effect important social change in our community,” said Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Rye brokerage manager Pati Holmes. “I am also tremendously grateful that such an excellent selection of Rye restaurants has decided to open their doors and join us in this worthwhile cause.”

Tickets can be purchased online at atasteofrye.com, and exchanged for a wristband at the company’s Rye brokerage located at 49 Purchase Street, between Starbuck’s and Ruby’s Oyster Bar, on Friday, September 19 or Saturday, September 20 between 9am and 5pm.
