William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty Hosts Fall Foliage Broker Open House Tour

Litchfield, Conn. – October 23, 2014 William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty recently announced the firm’s Litchfield Hills fall foliage tour, which included five current listings in Litchfield County, Conn.  The tour was held on Wednesday, October 22 from 1 PM to 5 PM, and encouraged agents, sellers and company employees to attend.

The afternoon began at a classic brick Federal Colonial built in 1808 located at 380 Hut Hill Road in Bridgewater, Conn.  The residence, which is offered at $1,725,000, boasts numerous renovated features, as well as 3 private acres of land with views of the surrounding Bridgewater Land Trust.  Continuing on, both 78 Sentry Hill Road and 67 Squire Road in Roxbury, offer a country lifestyle and various rustic features. 78 Sentry Hill Road is a stone home situated on 20 acres of land, built to resemble a Mediterranean farmhouse, while 67 Squire Road is a reconstructed barn on ten acres of land that overlooks a neighboring 50-acre land trust. Cady Barn House, located at 89 Flag Swamp Road in Roxbury, was the next stop on the tour, and consists of two antique barns with unobstructed southwest views of Litchfield County.  The tour concluded back at Bridgewater with a custom-built home on 260 Main Street, complete with 25 acres of land that abuts a land trust with a newly constructed 60×40-foot barn.

“I was thrilled by the turnout of this unique Litchfield tour,” said Matt Day, manager of the William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty Litchfield Hills Brokerage.  “The event not only offered great support to both agents and sellers, but it also provided the perfect way to enjoy and appreciate an autumn afternoon in Litchfield surrounded by the natural beauty of the season.”

Wine and hors d’oeuvres were served at each property, in addition to a chance to win a $100 door prize.
