William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s Westport Listing Receives Home Building Industry Award

Westport, Conn. (November 19, 2014) — William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty recently announced that the firm’s Westport listing, a MILTON estate located at 14 Charcoal Hill Road, was a recipient of the 2014 Home Building Industry, or HOBI award, for Best Spec Home in the $4-5 million range. The announcement was made at the annual Home Building Industry Awards on Tuesday, November 18 at the Aqua Turf Country Club in Southington, Conn.

The HOBI Awards is Connecticut’s most prestigious housing industry program, acknowledging distinction in new construction, land development, remodeling, sales and marketing, and home financing.  A panel of HOBI judges with varying skills and expertise in home building select the winners each year by reviewing applications submitted by HBA members.  In addition, the judges travel the state for several days, touring selected homes and neighborhoods before making final decisions.

“To be a recipient of this highly acclaimed award is a great honor,” said Marc Caldarone, manager of William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s Westport brokerage.  “MILTON defines the architectural quality embodied in this award through the firm’s meticulous construction of 14 Charcoal Hill Road—a magnificent Westport estate.”

The property is one of Westport’s latest creations, and is listed by Westport agents Todd Gibbons and James Love Lee for $4,399,000.  Constructed in 2014, this shingle style estate offers views of the Saugatuck River Valley and Connecticut’s best sunsets. In its 7,900 square-feet, the finest craftsmanship and detailed architecture is evident throughout the many spacious and bright rooms.  Multiple terraces, a pool, spa and outdoor fire pit surrounded by manicured grounds complete the 2.32-acre property.

MILTON is a leading home builder and crafter of distinctive luxury homes in Westport, Conn.  The local company’s core values include quality, transparency and commitment to clients.

“I am honored to be representing a residence built by such a renowned development firm,” said Gibbons. “The architectural features, design, and overall dedication that went into creating this home are incredible, and I am thrilled that the Home Building Industry has recognized such excellence.”
