Essex, CT 06426

A brief sabbatical to study at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts first brought Margaret to the shoreline in 1990 and, after just a few months, she moved here permanently.  Leaving behind a career in Sales Promotion and Corporate Marketing for the Bank of New York, Margaret worked on many public relations projects for the Lyme Academy and the Florence Griswold Museum.  Prior to selling real estate, she worked for Eastland Yachts managing the ropes of buying and selling the second most important purchase of many people's lives.

Margaret believes that every home, large or small, is a luxury property. She believes successful marketing is similar to great matchmaking. With savvy marketing and negotiation skills, Margaret guides clients through the intimate process of bringing buyers and sellers together in highly personal and financially significant transactions.

In 1998, as a strong proponent of "paying it forward," Margaret co-created an annual Meals on Wheels Christmas Project providing holiday gift bags to homebound neighbors in need.  Born in Keene, New Hampshire, and raised on Long Island, Margaret is a graduate of Miss Porter's School and attended Georgetown University before receiving a BA from Kenyon College.  An avid tennis player and member of the Old Saybrook Racquet, Margaret lives in Essex with her trusty sidekick Goose, a Brittany spaniel.
