I grew up in Madrid, Spain, where my parents have always owned and operated their own businesses. From them I experienced first-hand how a strong work ethic and attention to detail is critical to building a successful business. Those experiences early on instilled in me a CAN DO, entrepreneurial spirit that has guided me through the years and remains an important part of who I am today.

After finishing college on the East Coast, I wanted to experience the fast-paced craziness of living and working in NYC so I took a job in Manhattan in the commodity trading industry. This career move challenged me in many exciting ways, but also reinforced in me the critical importance of delivering exceptional results consistently. When you are managing multi-million dollar transactions on a daily basis, you learn quickly the importance of attending to every single detail!

After years in the corporate world developing expertise in everything from commodity trading and finance, to operations, risk management and contract negotiation, it was time to move on to the next chapter in my professional life, to something that satisfied that entrepreneurial, CAN DO streak in me…Real Estate. Finding houses that become homes, matching buyers and sellers, building valued and lasting relationships – I’ve been loving it ever since!

For 20 years and counting I’ve called Stamford home. From the hustle and bustle of downtown condo living in years past to the quiet, tree-filled acres of North Stamford today with my husband and three boys, “The City that Works” and surrounding Fairfield County provide fantastic places to live, work and play.  I look forward to sharing my discoveries and experiences with you.

Testimonials

"Normally I don’t write reviews. However, I couldn’t get away from this one. Me and my family were first time home buyers from New York. We decided to search for a house in Stamford. During the search we found Ruth, as an agent of few properties in Stamford. We contacted her and scheduled a meeting at her office. At the very first day we met with her, we signed a 6 month contract for her to be our agent. And yes, with Ruth’s help we did find the home we were looking for. And luckily it happened on the very first day we met her. I really think this should explain it all her kindness and service. We had an amazing experience working with Ruth throughout the process of our home buying. She delivered on every level. She is very nice and professional, responded promptly to our questions, gave us good advice, and we felt she really did her very best for us. We would certainly recommend Ruth, to anyone looking to buy or sell their property!"

"Ruth is upbeat and bright. She listens well and communicates back and forth between the owner and the buyer perfectly. She does what she says she is going to do and has a high level of integrity."

James G.

"Ruth was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely patient with us as we were indecisive. She kept us updated regarding inventory. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her."
