Ralph Waldo Emerson said that "Nothing great was ever accomplished without enthusiasm". I say it's a shame more people don't read Emerson. To be successful in an endeavor you need to enjoy what you are doing. When I was thirteen years old, I would leaf through real estate magazines at the gas station and fantasize about what I would own as an adult. Not much has changed. I work very hard at what I do because I love it. I prioritize always being available to clients and reachable on a moment's notice,
working at night and on weekends, and yet I still find myself watching HGTV with my wife every night. I live and breathe real estate.
There is much to be said for listing your house properly. Taking high quality photography, promoting your home effe ctively, making it available to be seen, and keeping it presentable are all musts, of course. A great deal of an agent's success is very simple - effort. Whether it is a client that needs help, or a prospective buyer inquiring about a listing, I make
every effort to answer the call, email, or text immediately. Every minute that elapses is one more minute closer to an opportunity lost. For everyone's sake, I do everything I can to ensure that no opportunities are missed.

I love music, have been refining my guitar chops, and trying to learn Mandarin. When not working, you can find me biking or fishing with the kids, playing volleyball, in the barn, and admittedly, sometimes working. Such is the nature of real estate!
