Twenty years ago, Susan Strickler visited Litchfield County and instantly knew she had to live here. Initially, the draw was the natural beauty of the area with its mountains, lakes and farmland where she could hike, swim, garden and ski. However it didn't take her long to discover the rich history of the area and the bountiful offerings of music, theater and antiquing which make the Litchfield Hills and the Berkshires a truly four-season escape. It was a perfect complement to her life in New York City.

Susan joined William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty in Lakeville after a twenty-five year career in television as a director and producer, primarily in soap operas. She has been nominated for several awards, winning both an Emmy and a Director's Guild of America Award while she was at Another World. She also worked at As The World Turns, Guiding Light, One Life to Live and, in Los Angeles, on The Young and The Restless. But, as is often the case with "weekenders", much as she enjoyed her work, she longed to spend more time in the country. So she got her real estate license and moved here full time in June, 2011.

As a dedicated real estate professional, Susan is ready to share her passion for Litchfield County and the nearby Berkshires with others who are searching to find their special weekend retreat or full-time residence here. And she is excited to have at her disposal, all of the most up-to-date technologies which William Pitt Sotheby's utilizes to make it a dynamic, interactive process.

In today's global world, the marketplace for real estate extends far beyond your local area. If you are looking to sell your home, William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty combines essential local expertise with a long-standing heritage of successfully presenting Connecticut's exceptional properties to the world. We have built our brand equity on a commitment to exceptional service, proper presentation and effective marketing strategies that transcend our competition.

Please come and talk to Susan and discover the difference.
