I was an international hotelier, living in London and New York City, before becoming a real estate broker in Westchester County. I am an Associate Broker with Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty and have represented both buyers or sellers in hundreds of real estate transactions. My objective for every one of my clients is to maximize value for them.
I live and work in Bronxville where I have served as Co-Chair of the Bronxville Historical Conservancy and on the board of the Community Fund. Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, I worked in every aspect of real estate, from directing on-site sales for developers to syndicating real estate investments. Featured in Fortune and Forbes magazines, I handle both commercial and residential real estate, but what I enjoy most is working with individuals who are interested in buying or selling a home. I specialize in single-family homes, townhouses, co-ops and condominiums in Bronxville and southern Westchester County.
I am also an artist who has painted portraits of many of Westchester's most significant houses and historic buildings. Painting these great mansions and classic houses has given me insight into the quality of these landmarks and has been invaluable in determining market value when pricing a new listing.
I am a past President of the Lawrence Park Hilltop which was originally a turn-of-the-century artist's colony. I am married and for 20 years lived in Lawrence Park in a house that was built as an artist's studio in 1892.

I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and efficiency surrounding the sale of our house. Bill Dowling was responsive, knowledgeable, and prepared - I was particularly impressed with the pre-sale planning and staging. As a result, we received our asking price.
Bill Dowling worked with me for a number of months helping me manage the clean up and staging of our house before putting it on the market. As a result, I feel that by the time it was listed, it was very appealing to buyers. We worked closely together to insure that every agent tour with their client went smoothly and Bill quickly identified an acceptable buyer.
Bill was a wise and steady hand throughout the entire listing and sale process and very attentive to our needs.
A sophisticated focus on detail, quality and value. This is a brokerage team and company with vision and ethics. Highly recommended.
