Carol DePietro

Carol DePietro did a splendid job in working with us over the last 15 years on the sale of 29.5 acres of forest land in Easton, Connecticut. When we started in 2007, we had a buyer who failed to show up to the scheduled closing and forfeited his deposit. A year and a half ago we decided to put the Easton land up for sale again, and we contacted Carol. This time there was a challenge. Sometime after 2007 the State of Connecticut designated 21acres of our 29.5 acres of Easton Land to be wetlands which seriously reduced its value. Despite this setback, Carol worked with us through a difficult economic period. She ultimately found a buyer for us who purchased the property for $475,000. Carol was always professional, even-tempered, efficient, and easy to contact. This sale was a special challenge for her because none of the seven owners of the property, including KeyBank, reside in Connecticut. The closing attorney Carol recommended, Kenneth Grace, also did an excellent job for us in handling the closing for a very reasonable fee. The Closing went smoothy, and all of the owners received what they were entitled to receive from the sale of the land. Carol did a superb job for us.
