He grew up in the real estate industry.  Son of a Westchester County real estate investor, builder, and entrepreneur, real estate is part of his DNA.  He made the transition to Fairfield County almost 20 years ago to start a family in the Connecticut suburbs of Wilton.  During this time John remained active in real estate as a Realtor ®, homeowner, investor, and vacation property owner/manager in CT, NY, and ME.  He is a firm believer in hands-on experience.  Having been a Buyer, Seller, Builder, Investor & Property Manager allows him to bring multiple perspectives and understanding to his clients.

Knowing that a real estate transaction is more than just a “transaction” is what John prides himself in understanding. His natural ability to forge long term working relationships that almost always become friendships is what John loves about his work.

Aside from spending more than 7 years as a real estate salesperson in NY/CT, John also spent over 12 years working for global Fortune 50 and entrepreneurial companies.  He credits his expert negotiation ability to working at PepsiCo and Coca Cola and as a global executive. John approaches selling real estate by listening first to clients neds and desires, then uses data to execute an achievable plan in order to satisfy his client's needs.

“A real estate purchase is both emotional and transactional. It is why listening and understanding what each party's motivations are is key to making clients appreciate the journey.” John says.  Buying real estate is likely the biggest and most important purchase of your life and he knows it takes a skillful blend of managing buyer/seller relationships, a keen ability to listen, and navigation of the transaction, plus extensive focus on details to see it through to closing.

John, together with his wife, daughter, and their three dogs (YES THREE!!) reside in Wilton.  His daughter is a rising high school junior and has flourished through the Wilton school systems since pre -k and is a competitive swimmer for the Wilton Wahoos.  Together they love to hike, kayak, entertain and tend to their elaborate 3 season vegetable garden.  Personally, John is an avid endurance athlete and has competed in dozens of marathons, cycling events, and an IRONMAN triathlon.

John has been an active volunteering member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for over 20 years and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society for over 6.  He is passionate about helping others and giving back as he has been on the receiving side throughout his life.
