During her 40+ years as a real estate broker, Katie has shared her personal insights with home buyers and sellers as a relocation specialist. She carefully guides clients through all aspects of the home buying process while providing access to the area's preeminent attorneys, architects and even moving companies.
Through her own experience she has the empathy and skills to make their transition a smooth one. Her ability to see Rye City through the eyes of a newcomer provides clients with a wealth of information before they move to the area. She is well versed also about the various programs offered by the area's private and public school systems.
Notably, Katie transacted the sale of the original Rye City Harbor Captain's House, a property which can be found on historical maps of Rye City. She also served as the listing agent for the oldest home in Westchester County, the historic Timothy Knapp House.
Having lived in Bangkok and Hong Kong, Katie has a heightened awareness of the diverse cultures of many countries and understands her international clients' needs when it comes to living outside of their native countries. She works closely with many international clients to translate their unique needs into the appropriate Rye City home.
Katie loves living in Rye and believes in supporting the community that has given her so much. In addition to being active with her church she was ordained in 2010 as a deacon of the Episcopal Church. Katie volunteers and is currently on the board of Meals On Wheels for the Rye City area, she is a driver for SPRYE (assist the elderly), and volunteers with Cartais (prepares and serves meals to the needy). She is a member of Rye Womens Interfaith and the Women's Club of Rye.
Katie is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Westchester Putnam Board of Realtors and Rye Harrison Multiple Listing Service.

Testimonials
I recently purchased a home in Westchester County and Katie Lawrence was of invaluable help in brokering the transaction. From the very beginning – selecting various houses which met my lifestyle and price range – to joining me at the closing, she was always there. Her insight into the local real estate market, her knowledge of its pros and cons, and her familiarity with local assisting agencies such as mortgage lenders and insurers made each step go on smoothly to a successful conclusion. Katie is a super broker!
