Marina is an accomplished CPA within the Energy sector, known for her financial acumen and strategic insights. However, her journey to success in the real estate industry was not a direct path. Marina's professional story began in the bustling city of New York, where she landed her first accounting job after graduating from college. Working for a prominent real estate development firm, Marina gained invaluable experience in the industry that would later shape her career.

With a desire to pursue her passion for helping others find their perfect homes, Marina made a bold decision after 15 years in accounting. She decided to channel her expertise and embark on a new adventure as a real estate salesperson. She obtained her license in both Massachusetts and Connecticut, allowing her to serve clients in two thriving real estate markets.

Marina's roots trace back to Eastern Europe, specifically Belarus, where she was born. However, at the tender age of four, her family relocated to Helsinki, Finland, where she grew up. Even today, Marina maintains strong connections to her hometown and frequently travels to Helsinki and neighboring countries to visit her beloved family and friends.

Education has been a cornerstone of Marina's journey. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Driven by her thirst for knowledge and professional growth, she pursued further education and obtained an MBA degree from Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in New York City. Additionally, Marina holds a CPA license in the state of New York, which demonstrates her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in her field.

In 2014, after a decade of thriving in the bustling metropolis of New York City, Marina and her family decided to embrace a change of pace and relocated to Old Lyme, Connecticut. Nestled in a serene coastal town, Marina currently resides there with her two beautiful daughters, who are the center of her world.

Apart from her professional pursuits, Marina finds joy in various hobbies. She has a knack for DIY projects and gardening, activities she passionately engages in, often involving her children. Marina's patience shines through as she includes her daughters in these endeavors, even though they tend to extend the completion time. In addition, Marina cherishes the outdoors and stays active through activities such as running, cycling, kayaking, and playing tennis. She also finds solace and mental clarity through daily meditation practices.

Marina's adventurous spirit was showcased when she participated in the New England Ragnar in May 2022. Alongside 11 dedicated coworkers, she took part in a relay-style race, covering over 200 miles from Connecticut to Massachusetts. Marina believes that spending 36 hours with her teammates in a van during the race provided a unique opportunity to truly know and understand her colleagues.

With both personal and professional goals, Marina aspires to make a positive impact. On a personal level, she strives to raise kind and confident daughters who are unafraid to embrace risks while understanding the potential challenges they may face.
