We are thrilled to report that our fourth annual company event, just held on February 27, proved a successful and energizing way to kick off 2013. Momentum was the theme of the event, based not only on the substantial sales improvements our markets experienced in 2012 as well as the growth we have seen in the infrastructure of our own company, but also where we see ourselves and the market heading right now. Approximately 700 agents from all three of our partner firms joined us for Momentum, held at the Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Stamford, Connecticut. The event gave them a chance to connect with fellow associates, share their own experiences and build new relationships to help build their businesses.
After the networking hour, agents settled in for a day of presentations and guest speakers that left them feeling excited and invigorated to tackle the year ahead. In a company-produced video, President and Chief Executive Officer Paul E. Breunich spoke about the recovery of the real estate market and introduced strategic efforts for the new year. These were expounded on in a discussion by company leaders about coming marketing advancements and how they will provide even greater support for our agents. Director of Marketing Vincent Socci rolled out 2013’s new marketing initiatives, while John Passerini, Vice President of Interactive Marketing at Sotheby’s International Realty educated guests about Anthology, our brand’s innovative new digital marketing kit. Our two guests speakers, Nikki Field of Sotheby’s International Realty’s, East Side Manhattan brokerage and Jared James were galvanizing. One of the top ranked residential real estate agents in the country year after year, according to an annual ranking sponsored by The Wall Street Journal, Field provided important insights and valuable takeaways, while James delivered an inspiring talk full of ideas for increasing productivity in today’s market.
The sponsors for our event came out in force, with attending representatives sharing with our agents information on new technologies and available marketing products.
