Westport, Conn. – October 5, 2023 – William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that Toni Mickiewicz, a long-time top producer who previously worked with William Raveis for 18 years, has joined the company’s Westport, Conn. brokerage. Toni, a lower Fairfield County specialist who grew up in Westport, was recently ranked in the 2023 Real Trends list of America’s Best Real Estate Professionals, placing her in the top 1.5% of all real estate professionals in the nation.
Toni brings a wealth of real estate expertise that she noted dates back to before she was even born: Her grandfather George DiScala and uncle Jack DiScala founded Town and Shore Real Estate Company in Norwalk, a firm that is now known as M.F. DiScala and Company, specializing in commercial real estate. Her father, Tom Horton, was a Broker in Norwalk and her mother, Catherine Discala, worked as a Realtor when Toni was young.
Before entering the industry herself, Toni had a career as a psychotherapist for 15 years. That professional training has translated well to her career as a Realtor. Her interpersonal skills contribute to her role as facilitator in the process of buying or selling homes, “which can often be highly emotional for some and stressful for many,” Toni says. “I am passionate about my work and assisting my clients with achieving the best possible outcome with their real estate needs.”
Making the move to William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty is a thrill for Toni, who said she is enticed by the firm’s stellar reputation and the global network the company provides. “There is a sense of elevation with the Sotheby’s International Realty brand – the reputation, the name and the global impact,” she explained.
“I am excited to welcome Toni to our brokerage,” said Westport Brokerage Manager Colleen Kasper. “Her long-acknowledged reputation across Fairfield County as well as her boutique approach to real estate will be a huge asset for us.”
