Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Hosts ‘A Taste of Rye’ With My Sisters’ Place to Fight Domestic Violence

Rye, N.Y. (August 27, 2018) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that the company will once again partner with My Sisters’ Place, a Westchester County-based organization that works to fight domestic violence, in hosting a fund-raising “A Taste of Rye” restaurant crawl on September 29, 2018 from 3-5:30 pm.

The company is currently selling tickets to the event for $55 to raise money for the cause. Additional funds will be gathered through a raffle, featuring gift cards donated from local Rye merchants. All money raised will go directly to My Sisters’ Place in support of its efforts to end domestic violence by helping victims while focusing on community education and prevention. My Sisters’ Place also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need.

Purchase of a ticket allows participants to “sip, snack and stroll,” gaining them a drink and a specially prepared appetizer by the chef at each of nine restaurants featured on the tasting tour. These include Aurora, Morgan’s Fish House, Rosemary and Vine, Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro, The Red Pony, Town Dock Tavern, Bareburger, Rafele Rye and the Rye Grill & Bar.

“A Taste of Rye is now in its fifth year and every year the event is a huge success,” said Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Rye brokerage manager Pati Holmes. Over the last few years, we have raised over $140,000 for this very worthwhile organization, gaining recognition by My Sisters’ Place for our efforts. “We thank everyone who has participated for their continued support. I hope even more members of the community will be able to attend and volunteer their time to help end domestic violence and human trafficking at this year’s event.”

Tickets can be purchased online at atasteofrye.com, and exchanged for a wristband at the company’s Rye brokerage, located at 49 Purchase Street between Starbucks and Ruby’s Oyster Bar.
