Molly Crosland Joins William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty

Former NBC and CNN Network Writer and Producer of over 15 Years Joins the Firm

Darien, Conn. (November. 6, 2014) — William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that Molly Crosland, a former NBC and CNN producer and writer of network TV news for over 15 years, has joined the company as a sales agent and will be based in the firm’s Darien brokerage.

Crosland’s TV network news experience has provided her with the marketing expertise, work ethic and effective communication needed for the home-selling process.  She is a recipient of the Peabody Award, which recognizes distinguished and creditable public service by radio and television stations, networks, online media, producing organizations and individuals, for her dedication to CNN’s coverage of Hurricane Katrina.  Crosland has also been involved with several Emmy-winning shows during her tenure as a producer at NBC News and TODAY.  In addition to her media experience, Crosland has over 20 years of expertise in coaching and playing lacrosse, serving as the elite girls’ lacrosse coach at the SoNo Field House in Norwalk, Conn.

“Molly has so much to offer our team,” said GiGi Melillo, manager of William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s Darien brokerage.  “With her tireless dedication and desire to help others apparent in both her news writing career and coaching, Molly gives it her all in everything she does.  I look forward to seeing how her unique background and motivated mindset benefit our team and the future residents of Darien and Norwalk.”

“There are probably few decisions in life as big as buying and selling real estate,” said Crosland. “That’s why you need someone on your side who is willing and able to coach you through the process.  I truly look forward to doing just this as I begin my career working for this great brand.”

Crosland currently resides in Rowayton with her husband and two children.  She is an active member of the Rowayton Parents Exchange and has co-chaired the annual CCNS Art Show to raise money for her daughter’s cooperative nursery school.  In her spare time, Crosland enjoys jogging to Bayley Beach, coaching lacrosse at the SoNo Field House and attending her son’s soccer and little league teams at Rowayton Elementary.  Crosland was a regional All-American lacrosse player and Phi Beta Kappa at Lehigh University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
