William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty Agents Partner with Ring’s End Inc. For Special ‘REfresh Your Home’ Series

Local firms team up for a four-part series, covering multiple home-related topics

Old Lyme, Conn. (April 9, 2015) – William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that the firm’s Old Lyme and Essex brokerages will be partnering with Ring’s End Inc., one of Connecticut’s most prominent retail, lumber and building specialty retail companies, for an educational series entitled “REfresh Your Home.” Old Lyme agent Allyson Cotton and Ring’s End representative Maria Defiore have spearheaded the program, which consists of a series of four home-related seminars. The first event will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, from 5-7 PM at Ring’s End in Niantic, CT.

The event will cover topics on today’s color trends, window treatments, hardware and more. There will be a brief presentation by the luxury paint and wallpaper company Farrow & Ball, followed by product discussions, Q & A and networking with representatives from this firm, as well as Emtek Hardware and Ring’s End, which will be showcasing its Classic Collection of window treatments. In addition, William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty agents will be on hand to discuss home staging tips for a successful sale.

The four-part series will continue in May with a feature on “Stunning Outdoor Spaces,” which will then be followed by “Low-Budget Remodels” in September. An October event on home organization with special guest Ellen Madere, an organizational consultant from “Ellen Gets It Done,” is set to end the series.

“This wonderful series provides the unique opportunity for local retail shops, as well as home experts and real estate professionals, to showcase their wide range of offerings and knowledge when it comes to home staging tips, maintenance and design,” said Defiore. “It’s a great way to share various kinds of home expertise, providing value to both buyers and sellers of today and tomorrow. I am so grateful for everyone involved, and can’t wait for the series to begin!”
