The village of Piermont on the west side of the Hudson River in New York’s Rockland County may be small in size, but it has immense appeal when it comes to riverfront living with its diverse architecture, vibrant downtown, abundance of services and shopping and iconic landmarks and historic sites.

The village offers a mix of modern condominiums overlooking the Hudson, as well as stately brick colonials, craftsman cottages and charming Victorians. In the late 20th century, the village became a popular tourist attraction for day-trippers, including bicyclists using Bike Route 9, from nearby New York City. The village’s charming downtown is home to a plethora of shops, galleries and eateries, and visitors and residents alike enjoy touring its numerous historic landmarks and places of interest. Piermont is served by the South Orangetown Central School District.
