Being a real estate agent is more than a job to me. It is a passion.

  • Born In:
    Newton, MA
  • Live In:
    Purchase, NY
  • Favorite Movie:
    Dirty Dancing (The Original)
  • Passion:
I am passionate about my work and my family

I find great joy in meeting new people and sharing my knowledge of the Westchester County market and communities with buyers and sellers. Because I keep my ear to the ground and am constantly networking with lenders, contractors, attorneys, appraisers and other agents, I am able to offer information and valuable resources to my clients that are otherwise not readily available to them. Personal satisfaction only comes after my clients walk away from the closing table with a smile after a successful and seamless transaction.

I have enjoyed a 25-year career in sales and marketing, and I now use those skills daily. The secret to my success in real estate is simple: I am a hard worker, a skilled communicator and a very good listener. Whether assisting empty nesters selling their home or first-time homebuyers, I take a proactive approach by anticipating their individual needs and doing my best to make the experience a stress-free and positive one.

For buyers, I protect their interests by equipping them with complete and current market data, and present details in a way that is clear and concise, but not overwhelming. For sellers, I am by their side during every phase of marketing, from staging a home to creating distinctive brochures, hosting open houses or contacting potential buyers. I use my skills as a Certified Negotiation Expert to achieve favorable outcomes for all of my clients. As a member of the Sotheby’s International Realty team, I have access to vast listing, promotional and administrative support which ultimately benefits both buyers and sellers.

After living in Manhattan’s Upper East Side during the early part of my career, I decided about 18 years ago to relocate to Purchase, where I am raising my three wonderful children. I love being a part of the fabric of the Rye-Harrison-Purchase community and am actively involved in several local organizations. I am a member of the PTA and a proud supporter of Ameri-Cares, My Sisters’ Place, Forever Families Through Adoption, Inc. and Westchester Pet Rescue. When time permits, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling, taking in a Broadway show or going to the movies.

Testimonials

I am a residential real estate attorney and have represented some of Bonnie's clients. Bonnie is an excellent broker and is very responsive to me and her clients. She has a lot of knowledge in the field and goes out of her way to service her clients. I know that her clients have been thrilled with her.

Homebuyer

Exceeded our expectations! Constant attention, worked tirelessly and always goes way beyond what is expected!

Homebuyer

We were on our first house buying tour and Bonnie was the most friendly, naturally accessible agent. She's very patient and took care of us, who have little experience in buying houses in the NY Weatchester area.

Reginald Wang

Bonnie's kindness and understanding coupled with her impressive knowledge of the local neighborhoods and her amazing responsiveness to our needs, would allow me to recommend Bonnie without hesitation. Bonnie has a way about her that leads to successful negotiations without offending anyone. She is extremely responsible and has a fantastic work ethic. I would definitely work with Bonnie again.

Lisa Trencher

We have always enjoyed working with Bonnie Stein. She is always extremely professional & knowledgeable and gets back to me with any questions or concerns I might have about a house or property. I would recommend her to anyone. She has made looking for a new home very pleasurable. She listens to the needs and criteria of what I am looking for, eliminating wasting my time viewing homes that she knows wouldn't be for me. I will definitely use her again. A quick thanks for putting together such an array of homes in such a short amount of time. You brought us up “the learning curve” on what’s available in the market in our price range, and helped explain the trade-offs we will be facing. Thank you!

Giselle

Professional, responsive, knowledgeable. Our experience with Bonnie was excellent, and this is coming from someone who is not a huge fan of realtors overall. But Bonnie was able to help us prepare our sale and sell our apartment in an incredibly short period of time. I have already recommended her to friends and would do it again. Overall great experience.

White Plains Clients

Bonnie is a resourceful, responsive, reliable agent. She is very knowledgeable about the real estate market; her diligence and tenacity are impressive. And in addition, she is extremely pleasant and considerate. It has truly been our pleasure to work with her in the sale of our home and the purchase of another, and we can't recommend her highly enough.
