Jay is a lifelong resident of the Lower Connecticut River Valley, having grown up in Old Saybrook. Coming from a family with a background in real estate investment and property ownership, Jay developed an early appreciation for the industry. Today, he combines his local knowledge with a genuine appreciation for architecture, history, and the unique character of the homes throughout the Connecticut Shoreline.

Before beginning his career in real estate, Jay spent ten years in precision manufacturing, working his way from visual inspector to senior area technician. His responsibilities included troubleshooting complex machinery, developing systems and processes, programming robotics, training employees, and collaborating with automation engineers to introduce new equipment. During this time, he contributed to the manufacturing of medical equipment, aircraft components, and critical ventilator parts during the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience helped shape his methodical approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things the right way.

Seeking a more personal and relationship-driven career, Jay transitioned into real estate, where he could work directly with people and make a meaningful difference during one of life's most significant transactions. As a real estate advisor with William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty in Essex, he takes a hands-on approach to representing buyers and sellers throughout the Connecticut Shoreline and Lower Connecticut River Valley. Jay makes it a priority to thoroughly understand each property he represents, believing that preparation, communication, and personal involvement are essential to a successful experience. His goal is simple: for every client to look back on their experience as the best they have ever had with a real estate advisor.

Outside of real estate, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife, Paige, and their Boston Terrier, Winston. He is passionate about healthy living, including exercise and locally sourced food, and enjoys exploring antique shops, watching football, and following college basketball.
