Julie has been a full time Realtor on the Connecticut Shoreline since 2008. She has lived in Madison for 28 years and has always enjoyed being an active member of this wonderful community. She brings a wealth of local knowledge and passion for residential real estate to each client she represents. Julie approaches each transaction with a high level of integrity, always keeping her client's specific goals front of mind. With high professional standards, working with Sotheby's was a natural fit for her.

Born and raised in Yuba City, California, Julie is the ninth in a family of 10 children (if that doesn't endow you with the ability to work well with others, not to mention negotiating skills, nothing will). She received her BA from Saint Mary's College, spending her junior year at Loyola University in Rome, Italy. Upon graduating Magna Cum Laude, she followed her passion for education and became an elementary school teacher. This led Julie to pursue a graduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Julie and her husband Kevin moved to Connecticut when Kevin received a job promotion. They purchased an antique home in Madison which they have been working on ever since. They have 3 children who received outstanding educations in Madison Public Schools and are all pursuing advanced degrees.

In addition to her obsession with residential real estate, Julie is a tennis fanatic, playing as often as her busy schedule will permit and watching Roger Federer at every opportunity. She also loves perrenial gardening and travel with family and friends.

Testimonials

Julie was absolutely wonderful in helping us find our forever home. Every week I received an e-mail with at least 5 houses to look at that were in our price range. She even let us know about a couple houses that hadn't hit the market yet. She was available to show us houses at anytime. She connected us with the best mortgage company we've ever worked with. I would HIGHLY recommend Julie to anyone who is looking for a true real estate professional.

Julie was a delight to work with. She demonstrated strong local market knowledge, was tenacious when we needed her to be, showed great patience with us throughout the process and listened to what was important to us. Julie also had a non judgmental approach throughout our search for a new home and showed great flexibility around our evolving search. Finally, Julie was a strong communicator and actively kept us updated on the most current news and listings. She was solid in handling the nuances of our buyer helping to complete our sale with minimal concern. We highly recommend her.

We have done lots of real estate transactions; Julie is A1. She took over from another local agent. Once we had Julie we knew we were with a professional team. Lots of exposure, great rapport with other agents and other offices, even with competing firms. Very well respected!

Prior to giving Julie the listing of an estate house, she provided a reasonable fair market evaluation, gave her honest opinion of the property's condition and how she was going to market it. Once, we gave her the listing, she was able to find multiple Buyers and negotiated a fair purchase price.

My wife and I worked with Julie in the finding of our current home and the sale of our previous home. She is an excellent realtor—she was conscious of our interests: home style & features, area, price range; prompt in setting up appointments and very responsive in returning phone calls and moving the buying/selling process along. We had worked with 2 other realtors prior to Julie and the buying experience with Julie was a world's difference better. I recommend her and would use her services for future home purchases/sales.
