My wife and I live in San Francisco and recently purchased a home in Madison with the help of Laurie Mazzeo. Laurie was representing us as the Buyers Agent and we cannot begin to tell you how wonderful Laurie was during the entire process! As we are in the process of relocating to England we just sold our Edwardian home in San Francisco and were very disappointed with the agent who represented us in CA. To say there was no comparison between Laurie and our San Francisco realtor would be an understatement. To put things in perspective, our home in San Francisco sold for $1.6 million while the home in Madison we purchased was $600,000. Laurie worked far harder and on our behalf for a $600,000 home than our San Francisco agent did for a $1.6 million home! The latter point is most significant. Throughout our entire experience with Laurie, we always felt as though Laurie was working with us and for us and never did we feel that Laurie was simply trying to get a deal closed. Quite the contrary with our experience with our other agent where we did not get the same level of personal attention and follow through and we always felt as though our “agent” was simply trying to get a deal done for her own financial gain. Having purchased and/or sold 3 homes over the past 5 years, my wife and I are so very thankful that Laurie was our agent on the Madison transaction! We will certainly be recommending Laurie to our family and friends in the Northeast and will be looking forward to working with Laurie again.

My wife and I first met Laurie at an open house one Sunday afternoon in the early summer of 2016. We were serious buyers and communicated our desire to purchase a beach home. On Monday morning, we requested a second look at the home and asked if she could meet us at 5:00 pm. She agreed. After our second look we sat down together and Laurie proved to be an extremely knowledgeable and experienced realtor. She was very easy to talk with and she always maintained a professional dialogue with us. She was representing the seller and we had no realtor. We asked if she would represent us. She outlined for us why some people would prefer a different arrangement. We understood the complexity of one realtor handling both ends of the negotiations but we felt so very comfortable with her we didn’t hesitate to ask her to represent us. She then worked with us on all of the online paperwork during both the negotiations, the submittal of an offer and the completion of the contract. We were elated on Wednesday of that week that our offer was accepted. She continued to work with us and our mortgage company, arranged for three different inspectors to meet with us and was always in contact with us until we got our mortgage and closing date finalized. Without any doubt, our decision to work with Laurie proved to be so beneficial for us. She is an outstanding ethical realtor with experience, knowledge and integrity.

When I was next selling my home, she advertised, created amazing photos - highlighting what made my home unique. She gave it as much exposure as possible through the listing, open houses, realtor walk through (not sure of official name of this) and was at every (yes EVERY) showing. She gave me feedback and really helped me sell my home without selling myself short. 4 years ago, when I wanted to purchase again, we looked at 20-30 homes and condos from Madison to Milford over a 12-15 period, before I ended up buying a place that I absolutely love. I had a couple of things that I wanted in my new home and was not in a rush to buy, so I had the luxury of waiting until the perfect place came on the market- and it did! Laurie also found me an adorable rental in Madison to hunker down while I continued to work full time and search for my new home. I have zero reservations about recommending Laurie as a realtor. She is professional, efficient, organized, thorough, timely ...just an A+ realtor.
