Today’s buyers and sellers are smarter than ever when it comes to real estate. I view the process as collaborative effort and my role is a trusted adviser and strategic partner. It wasn’t long ago that I was buying my first home, and I can relate to many first-time home buyers.
I'm part of an experienced 3-member team (Team Crosland) representing William Pitt Sotheby's in Norwalk, Darien, Wilton and the surrounding towns. People dig the fact they get 3-for-1 when they hire Team Crosland. All three of us bring different skills to the table, and as a result, have the depth and resources to fully serve our clients. This, plus being backed by the Sotheby’s International Realty brand, makes us quite a force!
Prior to real estate, I was a senior-level television news producer, most recently with NBC News. My television experience has given our team an edge when it comes to marketing homes because I am comfortable writing, directing and producing the cutting-edge photography and videography we often employ. I think every house has a story, and I try to effectively tell that story through the photography and video. With the expansion of online real estate platforms it’s easier to search for homes, but it’s also easy for your home to get lost in the fray. I try to make our listings stand out from the crowd, either with a compelling photography, drone video, or through our social media marketing. I am always looking for creative and innovative ways to promote our listings on Facebook and Instagram.
I am involved with the community through coaching youth lacrosse and volunteering at my church. I also host “Sundays at Sotheby’s,” a monthly art series in which our Rowayton office welcomes new, local art to display.
