Steve graduated from Skidmore College in 2000, which was followed by several years in New York City working in magazine publishing. Having grown up in Kent, CT and been an active member of the community since moving back in 2005, he knows Litchfield County exceptionally well.

His strengths as a Realtor come from his understanding of home construction, land development, as well as marketing. He enjoys working on houses and has overseen numerous renovation projects - from kitchen remodels, to entire home renovations, to new construction. Steve's thorough understanding of land development and local land-use policies was formed through years working in land surveying. And the same skills he learned working in publishing - advertising, marketing, writing and design - he brings to each of his listings.

Currently, Steve volunteers on Kent's Chamber of Commerce, coaches youth sports, and act as property steward for the Kent Land Trust. He also is an advocate for smart-growth and land conservation, which led him to serve on Kent's Planning & Zoning Commission for many years as well as on Pond Mountain Land Trust's Board of Trustees.

My Approach

My main goal as a Realtor has always been to work hard and be honest. I'd ne ver call myself a salesman. I like to get to know my clients on a more personal level and treat them as trusted friends. I enjoy real estate and the buying process too much to be pushy or impatient. It's a fun experience, and I like to share that with my buyers and sellers.

Testimonials

Steve worked with us on both the purchase of our current home and the sale of our previous home. His common sense, extensive knowledge, connectedness, sense of ethics, and hard work were invaluable. He negotiated fair prices and worked tirelessly to complete both transactions in a timely fashion. He's the best!

Christine F. – Kent, CT

I would highly recommend Steve to anyone! He helped us find and purchase our new home. He truly is knowledgeable and was very responsive to our needs. He went the extra mile and above what was expected. He is much more than your average realtor!

Nancy G. – Sherman

Steve is a great Realtor. He is very smart, has a ton of experience and is fun to be around. He made the entire process as stress free as possible. I would highly recommend him to someone who wants a Realtor who is knowledgeable, pays attention to detail and above all...honest.

Suzanne L. – Falls Village, CT

Calm, patient, and intuitive, Steve saw us smoothly and successfully through an unusually complicated purchase. A lifelong area resident he knows the market inside out. And having built houses, has a unique ability to judge the value and condition of properties. Clients always come first.

John D. – Bridgewater, CT

We worked with Steve for over a year before finding the right house. Throughout the process we felt we were in very capable hands while we never felt pushed in any direction. He's the perfect balance of professionalism and cordiality and I would highly recommend him!

Craig S. – Sharon, CT

I was referred to Steve through a friend who couldn't say enough good things about him. Having worked with him ourselves now, we couldn't agree more. Organized, knowledgeable, communicative and, of equal importance, super-friendly.

Christine S. – Gaylordsville, CT

Right through the closing, he helped in every way with courtesy and professionalism. He is a very pleasant man with great knowledge of the market.

Jon B. – Kent, CT
