Leslie Chesloff Joins William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty

35-year television entertainment veteran brings unique media background and strong set of creative skills to the firm

Litchfield, Conn. (September, 1, 2015)William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that Leslie Chesloff, television entertainment veteran of 35 years, has joined the company as a sales agent, and will be based in the firm’s Great Barrington brokerage.

Throughout her entertainment career, Chesloff had successful tenure at various renowned television networks including Lifetime, ion Media Networks, UP TV and local stations including WLVI in Boston. Her most recent position was at Swirl Entertainment Group (SEG), where she served as the CEO, partner. Prior to this position, Chesloff worked at UP Network, serving four years as the executive vice president of programming.  Her knowledge and background in the industry are extensive, providing Chesloff with invaluable leadership, creative and interactive skills.

A long-time visitor of the Berkshires in Massachusetts, Chesloff and her husband eventually purchased a 10-acre plot of land on the side of a mountain in Great Barrington. Plans for construction were put on hold, however, when Chesloff accepted a television position in Atlanta, Georgia. Five years later, Chesloff and her husband were ready to return, making the Berkshires their permanent place of residency, where Chesloff now works as a certified real estate agent.

“After five years at my job in Atlanta, I just couldn’t stop thinking about the Berkshires, and made the decision to leave my television career to live here full time,” said Chesloff. “I have always loved real estate and look forward to meeting people and sharing my passion for the bucolic beauty of the Berkshires with my clients.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome such a dynamic agent to our Great Barrington team,” said Kristine Newell, manager of the William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty Great Barrington brokerage. “Her love for the region certainly shines through in her dedication and passion for selling real estate, while her background in the television industry provides Leslie with a unique approach and set of creative skills. It is my pleasure to welcome her to the team, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make.”

Chesloff earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami.
