Amy and her husband Rick voluntarily relocated to the area in 2015 from beautiful Boulder, CO, where they raised their blended family of four, and haven’t looked back.

For the past three decades Amy has enjoyed an interesting career in book publishing, where she worked with many different authors, illustrators, and photgraphers on a wide variety of non-fiction topics. Amy has lived in many areas of the country, and has bought and sold several homes, including investment properties. She successfully updated some of them, doing much of the work herself, to current market expectations, and sold them for a nice profit. With a BFA in Design, she has the ability to creatively visualize what is possible with a property.

Amy currently lives in Ivoryton, and she and Rick enjoy exploring all that the Connecticut River Valley and Shoreline have to offer. They enjoy hiking with their rescued Potcake pups Stanle and Daisy, who also like to join them on their excursions wherever dogs are allowed.

Testimonials

Amy Rinehart did a wonderful job as my agent. She was helpful and organized, understood what my needs were and above all acted with integrity. I truly felt like she was my advocate and viewed me and my home purchase as a long term goal vs instant gratification. She was patient as we navigated the market through the pandemic and inflation. The owner of the agency could learn a lot from Amy by showing loyalty to all its clients and potential clients.

Amy Rinehart did a terrific job on our remote, long distance close. In addition to prospective buyers, she went out of her way to meet with contractors homeowner's association people to insure that we were able to close on this difficult sale. Thank you Amy!
