Litchfield County, Conn. (November 19, 2025) — William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty has named Eddie Jacob Assistant Manager for the firm’s four Litchfield County, Conn., brokerages, including locations in Kent, Litchfield, Salisbury and Washington Depot, Conn. In this role, Jacob will focus on supporting agents, strengthening office operations, and helping advance the firm’s longstanding reputation for exceptional service.
Jacob joined the firm as a sales advisor in the Litchfield brokerage in 2024, bringing with him a distinct professional background shaped by more than a decade of managing complex operations in legal services and global translation. Before moving into real estate, Jacob managed a team spread across New York, San Francisco, London and Hawaii, handling fast-turnaround projects for major law firms, federal agencies and global companies. He acted as the go-between for clients and linguists during tight deadlines and significant cases.
“Real estate feels very similar. Buyers, sellers, attorneys and agents are often dealing with stressful situations, and my job is to keep things steady and moving forward,” said Jacob. “The fast-paced environment I came from taught me how to stay calm, focused and organized—skills that will be instrumental in my new role.”
The transition to real estate grew from Jacob’s desire to become even more connected to the Litchfield County community, where he now lives with his wife, Molly, and where they are expecting their first child this winter. A Morris, Conn., resident, Jacob serves as Chairman of the Morris Ordinance Committee and works closely with regional partners including event venue South Farms, bringing the brokerage on as a supporter of its popular summer music series. Jacob also previously helped run a boutique entertainment company producing seasonal music events in New York City, an experience that further strengthened his ability to coordinate teams and community-facing programs.
William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty Brokerage Manager Julie King expressed enthusiasm in welcoming Jacob to the leadership team. “Eddie has quickly distinguished himself as a thoughtful collaborator, a trusted resource for his peers, and an engaged member of the community. His professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to supporting others have made him a natural fit for this leadership role,” she said.
