We are pleased to announce that our recent company event proved to be just as successful and invigorating as we hoped. The fourth annual event was centered around the theme of momentum. Our markets have seen tremendous sales growth in the past year, our own company has grown at the same time, and we believe these trends will only continue, so momentum seemed an appropriate and timely watchword. The event provided the approximately 700 sales associates who attended from all three of our partner firms with the opportunity to connect, share knowledge and forge relationships with colleagues in order to build business. Momentum was held on February 27 at Stamford, Connecticut’s Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center.
The event began with a networking hour and was followed by a series of presentations and guest speakers that invigorated and galvanized our agents. Paul E. Breunich, President and Chief Executive Officer, spoke in a company-produced video about the residential real estate market recovery and introduced important upcoming initiatives from the brand. Members of company leadership discussed these initiatives further as well as how agents will benefit from them. New marketing efforts for the new year were rolled out by Vincent Socci, Director of Marketing, while Sotheby’s International Realty Vice President of Interactive Marketing, John Passerini, revealed Anthology, our brand’s new technologically advanced marketing kit. Nikki Field from the East Side Manhattan brokerage of Sotheby’s International Realty, ensured that our agents walked away with insights from one of the highest ranked real estate professionals in the country, according to The Wall Street Journal-sponsored annual ranking. Jared James, delivered the keynote and providing an inspiring presentation designed to help agents increase their productivity.
