Geri Guzinski

We had an exceptional experience working with Geri's team and would not hesitate to recommend William Pitt/Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty to a friend or colleague. John Reid

Selling my parents’ home was an emotional process, and making it more difficult was having to do it remotely because I live out of state. Geri was one of three Realtors I interviewed during the week I spent in Stamford to prepare the house for sale and as soon as I met with her, I knew she was the right person for the job. To help the home stand out against the competition, Geri provided excellent recommendations and coordinated with all of them to get the house ready by our target listing date. From the Estate Sale company to the Clean Out company to the Stager, Geri’s recommendations were spot on and made a tremendous difference in how the home showed. Most importantly, her pricing strategy and overall marketing plan were exceptional, resulting in a smooth and successful sale. As a Realtor in Long Island for over 25 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of agents, and I can honestly say Geri demonstrated a superior level of market knowledge, strategic thinking, communication, and professionalism. She was proactive, responsive, and always had our best interests in mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Geri to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She exceeded our expectations every step of the way, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything she did for my family. Rosanna Piazza

Geri Guzinski was a true professional and a pleasure to work with. She understood my goals and worked with me quickly to find the house I needed. She was fantastic at managing the seller and her agent. I could not ask for better. Rosalind M. Hewsenian

Geri Guzinski and her team from William Pitt were fantastic. Geri gave us great advice before listing to make our home shine. Particularly to stage our home with Liz Pensiero staging and design who recommended paint colors and other updates all with the goal of showcasing the homes strengths while downplaying the negatives. We chose Geri for her deep knowledge of North Stamford and her proven track record of selling homes. Several open houses later and after many, many showings, Geri helped us during negotiations to final contract. We highly recommend William Pitt and especially Geri. Mark R. & Patricia A. Huntoon

We cannot say enough good things about Geri Guzinski. We worked with her when we purchased our home in Stamford in 2005,and found her to be knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. When we decided to sell our home in 2024 it was an easy decision to workwith her again. She was thoroughly familiar with current market conditionsand provided us with sound advice and guidance throughout the process. She was responsive and easy to communicate with, and we appreciatedher expertise. Every person she referred us to for help with the process was top notch-for painting and repairs, downsizing support, and moving. We highly recommend her.Thank you Geri! Roberta and Gary Bologna

In brief Geri is the GOAT. Without equivocation my experience in working with Geri was outstanding. She is professional, well informed, organized and straight forward. My first meeting with Geri was exploratory. I hadn’t determined exactly when I wanted to sell but wanted to know what the process was. She came prepared with a complete portfolio and market information. She completely understood my position and didn’t pressure me. When I decided that I was ready to sell we met and worked out a timeline. She brought her stager in and we decided what I needed to do to make my place ready to sell. She offered contacts of the contractors I would need to spruce it up. Again no pressure to use them but so convenient if I didn’t have someone. I did use them and they were great! I particularly like her approach to setting the asking price. Her recommendation was sensible and well informed. The whole process was seamless. Everything she told me would happen did. I ended up getting 15% over asking. My best advice is to take her advice and guidance. Use her expertise and you won’t go wrong! Select Geri as your realtor. She is the BEST!! Pamela Powell

As Home Sellers, we certainly were not Geri's easiest clients. Our home presented a number of problems, not the least of which was that it had only three bedrooms but was on a site with a phenomenal water view. The point of contention was how to present the spacious second floor family room with a fireplace. Geri saw it as a sitting/family room, but in this market we saw it as a dynamite home office with killer views (which is how we had used it). Geri was incredibly patient as she discussed how to present this room. She was willing to compromise its presentation. This is where her creativity and resourcefulness from years of experience came through. The back part of the room would have a couch, showing its potential as a family room. The front part by the Juliet balcony would show the room as a home office. Initially we resisted the idea of staging the house, but she showed us with photos how staging would enhance the selling potential of our house, as indeed it did. We received our first offer in 72 hours at the full asking price. Two days later, an offer for 6.6% over the asking price came in. What further complicated getting our house ready for sale was that we lived out of state. Again, Geri's years of experience and sense of humor facilitated the process. She went the "extra mile" to help us do whatever was necessary, like checking the lights, the thermostat, and running the water on all the floors twice a week, keeping our house running smoothly. We would enthusiastically recommend Geri to other home sellers. We would urge them to listen to Geri and take her advice. We're happy we did. Bruce and Margie-Jane Leslie Margie-Jane & Bruce Leslie
