William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty Announces Sponsorship of Artisanal Shopping Event, The Ticking Tent, in New Preston, Conn.

New Preston, Conn. — April 15, 2025 — William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s brokerages in Litchfield County, Conn., have announced their sponsorship of Spring 2025’s The Ticking Tent, an original “brocantes-style” artisan and antiques shopping event. Founded by interiors stylist Benjamin Reynaert and communications strategist Christina Juarez, The Ticking Tent takes place twice annually and is known for bringing together globally sourced treasures and a design-savvy crowd.

The Ticking Tent will take place on Saturday, May 3, from 9am to 5pm at the picturesque Spring Hill Vineyards in New Preston, Conn.

As the exclusive sponsor of the Early Bird Breakfast portion of the event on Saturday morning, William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty will help to kick off a day of inspired shopping, conversation, and creativity. The intimate breakfast gathering, held from 9am to 11am, offers ticket holders an exclusive first look at the curated vendor offerings, alongside a breakfast buffet by Alimentari Flâneur and mimosas by Madre Prosecco. Proceeds from breakfast tickets will help support the Spring Hill Arts Gathering.

The company said that its sponsorship reinforces its commitment to aligning with elevated, community-centered events. Senior leaders from William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty will be in attendance, connecting with guests and fellow design enthusiasts.

This spring’s Ticking Tent event features more than 50 artisans and vendors as well as demonstrations such as hand-tied florals by Robert Rufino and paper flower workshops by The Green Vase. Attendees can also enjoy tastings by Oceano Wines and Litchfield Distillery, get a coffee fix at the Ohho Flying Coffee truck, and find hand-crafted foods at The Ticking Tent Cafe X Caffe Doria.

“We’re proud to be part of an event that reflects many of the values of our brand: artistry, authenticity, and attention to detail,” said Julie King, brokerage manager for William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s Litchfield County offices. “The Ticking Tent brings together a community that understands the power of great design, and we are looking forward to celebrating that shared appreciation with attendees.”
