Giving Back: A Taste of Rye 2016

Raising money for an amazing cause while enjoying a delicious taste of Rye’s fabulous local offerings?—It doesn’t get much better than that! On September 24, 2016 from 3-5:30 PM, our company will once again co-host “A Taste of Rye” with Westchester County-based organization My Sisters’ Place, to help the non-profit’s tireless fight against domestic violence. So mark your calendars and extend the invite! Bring your friends and family, and maybe even lend a hand by volunteering during this special benefit event and wonderful town tradition.

You can begin supporting the cause with the purchase of a $50 ticket through our company. Additional funds will be gathered through a silent auction, led by our firm, showcasing an array of items donated from local Rye merchants. All money raised will go directly to My Sisters’ Place in support of its efforts to end domestic violence by helping victims while focusing on community education and prevention. My Sisters’ Place also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need.

“Over the last few years, we have raised over $100,000 for this very worthwhile organization, gaining recognition by My Sisters’ Place for our efforts,” said Pati Holmes, brokerage manager of our Rye office. “We thank everyone who has participated for their continued support. I hope even more members of the community will be able to attend and volunteer their time to help end domestic violence and human trafficking at this year’s event.”

There’s still plenty of time! Tickets can be purchased online at atasteofrye.com, and exchanged for a wristband at the company’s Rye brokerage located at 49 Purchase Street, between Starbucks and Ruby’s Oyster Bar.
