Before settling in West Stockbridge 17 years ago, she grew up in Brooklyn, and has lived in Manhattan and in France. A graduate of Antioch College, she traveled the world studying animal communication, as a veterinary technician, and worked in sales for a Bordelaise wine importer/distributor. Maggie is fluent in French, is ESL-certified, and was a teacher for many years.
Maggie settled in the Berkshires to find the perfect place to live, work and raise a family. Like others who have relocated here from all over the world, they appreciate they're chosen home for its reasonable pace of life, great schools, fresh air and outdoor activities, and more culture than anyone could possibly hope to take in, while at the same time, Boston and New York City are just a couple of hours away.
With its many cultural offerings and recreational activities, and the strong commitment that newcomers and old-timers have to contributing to they're quality of life, Berkshire County is a place that truly offers something for everyone. She is proud to be a small business owner here and to be involved and to support the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Tanglewood, WAM, Mass MOCA, the Clark Art Institute, 1Berkshire, to name a few.
Real estate has always fascinated Maggie, and, as a real estate professional, she prides herself on understanding the market and to helping her clients navigate it. The restaurant is also an ideal place to keep her finger on the pulse of the market: people with young families, empty-nesters, part-timers enjoying a weekend retreat, and people looking forward to the time when they can retire here.
Maggie looks forward to sharing her passion for the Berkshires and her knowledge of the local real estate market to help you realize your real estate dreams.

Maggie helped us find a place in the Berkshires this past December. We were living in North Carolina and she was recommended to us by a friend. When we finally met her, we knew we'd found the right person. Maggie is very warm and engaging, with a ready and infectious laugh. She gave her honest opinion about the properties she showed us and her primary focus was to find the right property for us, rather than try to push us into a quick sale. We had limited days to look at properties and there had been a snowstorm the night before, but Maggie showed up in her cute red Mini Cooper ready for a full day. She put on her snow boots and trudged through a foot of new snow with us as we looked at different building lots like it was a great adventure. As owner of Rouge Restaurant, it is not too much of an exaggeration to say that Maggie knows everybody in town. At the end of a couple of days of looking we found a lovely piece of land. Maggie helped us through the negotiation and closing. We very much enjoyed working with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone. (Also, her restaurant is awesome!)
