Award-Winning Agent Ellen Schwartz Joins Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty’s Irvington Brokerage

Irvington, N.Y. (August 22, 2023) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that Ellen Schwartz, a longtime top producer with a prolific real estate track record, has joined the firm’s Irvington, N.Y., brokerage. Schwartz, a 21-year industry veteran whose total sales top $200 million, was previously affiliated with Compass. She brings a wealth of real estate expertise and experience serving buyers and sellers across both the Sound Shore and Northern Westchester.

A former New Rochelle resident, Schwartz spent 18 years operating out of brokerages based in Scarsdale, N.Y., and also raised her family in the area, where she developed intimate connections across the community. Now living in Katonah since 2017, Schwartz has gained similar expertise in Northern Westchester, serving clients in Katonah, Bedford and neighboring Ridgefield, Conn. She is also a board member of the Katonah Chamber of Commerce.

Her deep real estate knowledge, focus on customer service and devotion to process-oriented business tactics have helped her amass a large referral client base and impressive numbers, including $21 million in closed volume in the past 12 months.

“I use very specific processes in running my business so that all my clients receive the same consistent level of top-shelf, white-glove service,” Schwartz said. “I’m also laser-focused on matching clients with homes and communities that support their lifestyles.” The latter strategy is a natural extension of her prior career working in the garment industry, where she learned how to match brands with stores that have the right buyers for the clothing lines she represented.

Making the move to Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty is a thrill for Schwartz, who touts the luxury cachet the brand possesses. “Also, I like the intimacy of the company — and that fact that you simultaneously get the ability to network and market yourself all over the globe,” she said.

“I am excited to welcome Ellen to our brokerage. Her longstanding reputation across Westchester as well as her award-winning performance and superior level of client service will be a huge asset for us,” said brokerage manager Virginia Doetsch. “Her unique skillset and dedication to excellence will bring stellar results for our clients.”
