Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Hosts Sixth Annual ‘Taste of Rye’ With My Sisters’ Place to Fight Domestic Violence

Rye, N.Y. (September 4, 2019) — Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that the company will once again partner with My Sisters’ Place, a Westchester County-based organization that works to fight domestic violence, in hosting a fund-raising “A Taste of Rye” restaurant crawl on September 21, 2019 from 3-5:30 pm.

Now in its sixth year, the annual A Taste of Rye event has raised over $160,000 to date for My Sisters’ Place.

The company is currently selling tickets for $55, with all funds raised going directly to My Sisters’ Place in support of its efforts to end domestic violence by helping victims while focusing on community education and prevention. The organization also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need. Additional funds will be gathered through a raffle, featuring gift cards donated from local Rye merchants.

Purchase of a ticket allows participants to “sip, snack and stroll,” gaining them a drink and a specially prepared appetizer by the chef at each of six restaurants featured on the tasting tour. These include Aurora, Bareburger, Rafele Rye, Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro, the Rye Grill & Bar and Town Dock Tavern.

“A Taste of Rye is now in its sixth year and every year the event is a huge success,” said Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Rye brokerage manager Pati Holmes. “We would like to thank everyone who has participated for their continued support in helping end domestic violence and human trafficking.”

Tickets can be purchased online at atasteofrye.com, and exchanged for a wristband at the company’s Rye brokerage, located at 49 Purchase Street between Starbucks and Ruby’s Oyster Bar.
