It can be pretty common for luxury industries to overlap. From the most exceptional homes, to the rarest automobiles and most coveted pieces of jewelry, many luxury goods go hand in hand. We are excited to announce that the firm’s listing at 7 Sky Meadow Farm in Purchase, N.Y., was the location for a photo shoot for the prominent luxury online watch magazine Watchonista. The 12,800 square foot property that served as a backdrop for multiple photos is on the market for $6,950,000 and is represented by Rye agent Maria Stilo.

Founded in 2009, Watchonista was one of the first online magazines to connect watch aficionados with information on the latest news and trends in the luxury timepiece marketplace. They selected the firm’s listing for a photo shoot for a recent article that highlighted Cartier’s “Drive De Cartier” watch line. The story features images that depict Cartier’s watches alongside vintage luxury cars parked outside the 1927 country estate.
“The idyllic 7 Sky Meadow Farm made for a perfect location for our photoshoot,” said Watchonista’s Managing Editor Josh Shanks. “Driving a 1958 Mercedes 300SL Roadster through the beautiful iron gate and up the winding driveway set the ideal scene for our article. We were delighted to work with Maria Stilo and her team at Julie B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty.”
Located on 11.67 acres, the home at 7 Sky Meadow Farm was inspired by Great Britain’s English manors, and it includes a variegated stone façade and a stone gabled roof, which were both featured prominently in Watchonista’s article. French doors from the main rooms lead to flagstone terraces that overlook the oval heated pool and English gardens. The property also includes a Har-Tru tennis court with a clay playing surface. Additional highlights include a two story entry foyer with a sweeping staircase and nine fireplaces throughout the home. The property has the potential to house up to three horses.
“This listing is truly an architectural masterpiece, so it made absolute sense for Watchonista to select this home as the location for a photo shoot that highlights a luxury product,” Stilo said. “Inside and out this property exudes affluence with an interior that’s reflective of the Adam-style tradition. I am proud to represent this exceptional home.”
