A lifelong resident of the community, Jennifer's background includes journalism, financial services and interior decorating. Jennifer began her writing career at The Washington Post and then served as a business writer covering commercial real estate for the Stamford Advocate/Greenwich Time.
She subsequently spent 11 years at MasterCard in Purchase, NY. As Director of Risk Management, Jennifer negotiated security agreements with banks globally to cover more than $500 million of risk exposure; she also brought in nearly $1 million in new revenue by establishing a fee structure for member bank securitizations...

She subsequently spent 11 years at MasterCard in Purchase, NY. As Director of Risk Management, Jennifer negotiated security agreements with banks globally to cover more than $500 million of risk exposure; she also brought in nearly $1 million in new revenue by establishing a fee structure for member bank securitizations. Jennifer later served as Vice President of Global Research, traveling extensively through the US, Canada, East and Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South Africa to review marketing and business development strategies with member bank senior management. More recently, she worked as a decorating and fabric consultant at her own company, honing her home design and staging skills.
Jennifer earned a B.A. in English Literature from Hamilton College and completed French language studies in Paris as well as extensive post-baccalaureate coursework in finance. She grew up in Larchmont, spent 10 years in New York City and now lives locally with her husband and 5-year-old twin girls. Jennifer is a member of the Larchmont Garden Club, The Woman's Club of Larchmont and is actively involved in her daughters' elementary school.
