Jennifer is a dedicated, resourceful, and accomplished professional committed to helping sellers get the highest price possible for their house, position it properly in the marketplace, and guide buyers to make smart decisions in purchasing a new home or investing in a weekend property.
As VP Sales of Sotheby’s Home at Sotheby’s New York, Jennifer mastered the art of client service and discretion for her clients, working with interior designers, their clients, luxury brands and antiques dealers, in the e-commerce side of Sotheby’s. Jennifer offers a multi-faceted approach, drawing on her impressive career in luxury sales over the last 30 years. As Publisher of several national and regional magazines such as Luxe Interiors + Design, Cottages & Gardens, and leadership roles at Elle Décor and House & Garden, she has collaborated and negotiated with the world’s top luxury brands and real estate companies. Her passion for real estate and all things home related kept her finger on the pulse of the market, and her earlier career on Wall Street helped shape her analytical skills.
Jennifer intimately knows the value of a global marketplace having launched Luxe Interiors + Design China, in 2012. As the creator of the Luxe Annual Gold List, the C&G’s Annual Design Guides and extensive experience with numerous Designer Show Houses, Jennifer can help you prepare and stage your house by offering solid design expertise and a wealth of local trade resources. If you are buying a house, her knowledge of luxury home products, vision of space, and design credentials are key in evaluating a potential purchase. Jennifer also knows the experts to bring in for renovations, both large and small.
Jennifer earned her BS at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. She spent a summer in Darien CT after college and fell in love with the area. In 1999, she and her husband (who lived in Greenwich as a child) moved back to Connecticut from San Francisco and raised their son in Rowayton. Living in a charming coastal community for more than 20 years, Jennifer is knowledgeable about waterfront properties.
Jennifer is also well versed in the area’s top public and private schools. Their son attended programs at Darien YMCA, Darien Nature Center, Five Mile River Nursery School, and the Norwalk Public School system: Rowayton Elementary, Roton Middle School, and Brien McMahon High School’s Center for Global Studies Program which is now an IB (International Baccalaureate) Program. Roton and BMHS gave him an impressive seven years of studying Japanese. He then did a PG year boarding at Millbrook School in Millbrook, NY, and is now a rising senior at St. Lawrence University – a Chi Alpha Sigma honor student, majoring in Economics and Statistics, and a captain of his baseball team - Go SLU!
Jennifer and her husband recently chose to downsize, so she offers a unique ability and perspective for sellers looking to do the same. Whether you are a first-time home buyer or an experienced buyer, seller or investor, Jennifer is a trusted advisor and enjoys long term relationships with her clients. Put the power of Jennifer’s commitment to exceed expectations, her design expertise, and extensive knowledge of Fairfield County Connecticut to work for you!
