Each month we will highlight a few events happening in each of the communities William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty serves.

As the calendar flips from June to July, there are plenty of activities to take part in. Below are just a few events to enjoy as we enter the first full month of summer.

Jar of liquid honey with honeycomb inside and bunch of dry lavender over old wooden table. Dark rustic style, selective focus

Have you ever sipped a cup of hot tea with honey and wondered where that honey came from? On July 20 at 1 p.m., Red Bee Honey in Weston is hosting a talk, tour and honey tasting that will give patrons a chance to visit a working apiary and experience honey at its source. Take a tour of Red Bee’s apiary and gardens, once the home of celebrity ballerina and author Gelsey Kirkland. Guests will gather at a communal farmhouse-style table in the honey house barn to explore and taste single-origin honey. Participants will be encouraged to engage their curiosity through discussions while learning how to identify flavor profiles in honey and their floral sources. Each menu is a carefully orchestrated “Tasting Flight” of five single-origin local honeys and perfectly paired seasonal accompaniments. For more information, click here.
